The Small Group Bible Study Guides are provided by the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Adult Discipleship Ministry to help study groups discover what it means to live as
Jesus disciples.

The questions are intended to invoke discussion and learning in small group settings. Group leaders should encourage members to read, study and apply the Scriptures in a humble attitude of searching for truth. See Proverbs 2:1-6 and Acts 17:11. There are no answer keys or “correct” answers provided. However, space is provided for writing notes or additional questions for future study. The study guides are provided for use on an as is basis and may be modified by group leaders for use in their group. The disciplines of prayer and service to others are encouraged as group activities. Planning the participation of group members in hosting or leading portions of the meeting is encouraged. The suggested times for each activity assume a 90 minute meeting but should not be viewed as a limitation.

Feedback on the use of these Bible study resources and suggestions for improvement would be appreciated. Personal testimonies of how God is revealing His grace and working in your life as a result of using these materials would also be a great encouragement to the Emmanuel Adult Discipleship Ministry Team.
